Viking
I can just remember the winter of 1963. We lived on a farm up in the top end of Swaledale near the top of a hill. We were cut off for about 2 weeks from any form of contact.

I can remember the stories my parents told me right down to the only traffic moving was the electric milk carts.
SMARTLY
I remember the snow drifts in the back garden ( just down the road from where Rich lives ), up against the walls and the garage they were up and over the said walls so probably 8 foot and you couldn't see the fences ( those sticks with wire holding them together ) which were about four foot high.
