randominbread
You have to check out the videos of the Supra testing at the track - they sound awesome!! Tony, what support does WIM provide the guy's racing? Do you go track side to answer queries regarding handling and chassis setup?

Tony, what support does WIM provide the guy's racing? Do you go track side to answer queries regarding handling and chassis setup? Good question. Our support is all in house, our software, knowledge can simulate race conditions, plus we pool data from last years TA performance. We do not answer questions track-side since our cars are in competition, any forth going assistance is not in our interest and i'm not being rude by this, but as said it's competition. randominbread
Do you provide race day support to your competing drivers? What software can simulate a race track, surely the bumps, dips and bends differ as the track gets resurfaced and also depends on how fast a car can travel around it? Sorry for all the questions!! I find the sport's behind the scenes stuff just as interesting as the actual race!
Tony
We don't support track-side (yet) The only thing we cannot measure is inertia, things like polar moment or transitional. So appart from obviouse static migration gains in camber we can also pull the car down in the expected suspension bump range and map toe gain/loss. In addition we can image the sprung chassis and map body roll front/ rear during all the tests, map the camber/ castor migration during yaw and calculate exactly how much tyre tread in involved in the steer and thrust.
