Tony
Ferrari wheel The complaint was a slow puncture no one could find. In truth the tyre wasn't punctured but the real cause had been missed.. The wheel has a chrome face the folds around the lip of the rim The problem with the rim is the chrome is not sealed inside the wheel allowing air to leak..... Image has a knife pushed in the gap As if that wasn't bad enough what had also been missed is that four bolts holding the two piece together had fallen out

Rich
Are those bolts on the inside of the rim? How was that not spotted before! So was a solution found to stop air leaking?
Tony
Owner wasn't impressed with the leak being missed or the build quality of the wheel falling apart.
Tony
Are those bolts on the inside of the rim? How was that not spotted before! So was a solution found to stop air leaking? We cleaned the wheel as best we could, then injected Tiger seal into the gap. As for the missing bolts, there was nothing we could do because they are American threads, so he will need to contact the manufacture. adam_r
Tony, it may be advisable to 'advise' customer to take all sets of wheels off, get the holes drilled and Helicoiled. then he can use BS nuts which are easy to get hold of!
