Exactly! An example of not using common sense. You'd have thought satnav providers like Tom Tom would do a lorry specific route plan to avoid things like this. ..

It might be able to fit through the space but that doesn't mean it should, there is clearly not enough room to manoeuvre properly without taking risks.

We had one in Ludlow recently, driver crossed an old bridge and didnt follow the road round to the right, instead continued straight up a limited access lane to a medieval gate that he would never get through. Sensibly decided to reverse back down to the bridge to follow the road round to the right but instead put the back end of the lorry straight through the stone bridge and drove off. Took a while but they caught up with him eventually but it shut Ludlows only south side access for months
