liner33
We had one of those locally last week , it closed the road for days as it took the chimney breast off the house and made it unsafe http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-england-berkshire-38075179

Tony
In truth a professional driver would see the turn is to tight.
NickT
But the sat nav tells them to turn Exactly! An example of not using common sense. You'd have thought satnav providers like Tom Tom would do a lorry specific route plan to avoid things like this. ..
Tony
That's a good idea from Tom Tom...... Looks to me this driver might as well just reverse, the damage is done

Rich
It might be able to fit through the space but that doesn't mean it should, there is clearly not enough room to manoeuvre properly without taking risks.
phipck
We had one in Ludlow recently, driver crossed an old bridge and didnt follow the road round to the right, instead continued straight up a limited access lane to a medieval gate that he would never get through. Sensibly decided to reverse back down to the bridge to follow the road round to the right but instead put the back end of the lorry straight through the stone bridge and drove off. Took a while but they caught up with him eventually but it shut Ludlows only south side access for months
Tony
So what would this be, driving without due care and attention?
