Russ Nicholls
Just picked up a monster truck NC 2.0 non sport, These don't have the same dampers as the sport model right? Would lowering springs be ok for fast road driving?
Tony
Hello Yes they will work fine.... The sport has gas dampers and non sport oil dampers but both use the same Eibach lowering coils.
Russ Nicholls
Thanks for replying. Not 100% sure I want to go with the springs now, getting more and more tempted to just get a set of coilovers.
Tony
If you do then you have full control but i warn you cheap = twice so be wise.
Russ Nicholls
I was looking at a set of Meister R Zeta S. But I will probably only be using the car 2 or 3 times a year on track, with 95% of my driving commuting to and from work, the rest just the odd blast down a B road. Would I even see the positives of a coilover compared to just lowering? Would it just be overkill?
Tony
Yes you would notice the difference. The MX5 boarders design limits in every aspect to encompass a full driving expectation from granny to full blown track junky. The chance to tune a single area toward a personal preference goes beyond looks in the case of the MX. I know the Meister R very well and they are a good choice.
