Put me down tone :) I still got a few knocks from mine (post new ARB Droplinks last sat) which i could do with being investigated with a view of being booked in and sorted out if you are up for it ?

I take it that's £5 to enter the raffle, doesn't mention anywhere in your post?

You do know it's the F1 race that day, 3 week break and you pick the weekend it starts again! :) Having said that I could pop down to watch it on the 50" screen, starts at 1pm

The advanced driver training, is that just for the person who has the suspension installed or everyone?

I may have an issue on the date now.... The meet will happen but it may be a week or so later..... :(

The shocks being raffled are for the MK1, as for the tech talk and tune this is for all cars.

I would be great to have the Hornet there :)

D'oh! should have read the topic properly!!

Just for info, the following weekend is Wings & Wheels @ Dunsfold (30/08/09), and there are a lot of MX5 owners going to that.

The Hornet will also be in attendance :(

I'll be up for coming along to this, and we are trying to organise for the Hornet to be there too.

Is the suspension for any particular MK of MX5?

(I could do with swapping my Absolutely (noisy) Gaz coilovers for a set of shiny new Gaz Golds Pros!) :)

Thinking about it, this would be a perfect time to put GAZ on the spot with your noisy suspension :(

Sorry i was referring to whether the initial date was still on. I got a fair bit on around the back end of August so if the date changes i will have to see if i can make it still :)

Oh bugger.

Won't be able to make that date.

There's a whole load of us from PlanetMX5 going to a Driver Training day at North Weald. (Including the Hornet I think.) :o

Sounds like that date will be cancelled as well!

But if there's a show on that alot of MX5 owners are going to how is that going to affect numbers for this meet?

  • 3 weeks later...

New to here but would like to come along on the 6th Sept with my tatty Mk1 Eunos - just pitch up or do we need to let anyone know?

Hopefully by then I will have replaced the lower bushes on the Bilsteins - the originals have collapsed and it squeaks and creaks like an old squeaky / creaky thing!

Hey,

Pretty new to this forum, but heard a lot (of good) :D

Don't suppose you will be doing any discounted calibration on sunday?

Or perhaps do the free calibration you mentioned on MX5Nutz on a sort-of-charity based basis (cheeky me)?

I'm a student and would love to get my alignment/geometry sorted, but can't afford your normal price :(

Had to ask... worst you can say is no :)

Put my name down please, need to be in your area on sunday anyway - so it's perfect timing :D
